YouTube critic George "SuperBunnyHop" Weidman has published an interesting video on the relationship between Bloodborne and Lovecraftian horror. The video contains heavy spoilers on the obscure plot of the game, so you should probably avoid it if you haven't had the chance to sink your teeth into From Software's title but intend to in the future, but does a fairly good job on elaborating on the use, misuse and alteration of elements from the stories Lovecraft and his successors and imitators penned, in terms of art, writing, and gameplay mechanics.
