Capcom Reassures Deep Down is Still in Development, Went Through Overhaul

Siliconera has translated some statements given by Capcom producer Yoshinori Ono to Japanese gaming website 4Gamer on the company's free-to-play action-RPG Deep Down. Ono explains that the game is still in development though much has changed since it was first unveiled. I wonder whether the new "much larger" ideas for the game will cause Western players to clamor for a release in their territory when unveiled, because I have to admit that the original iteration of Deep Down looked quite clunky (though certainly gorgeous):

(It looks like deep down will take just a little longer. It also looks like some people are starting to ask '˜did the development come to a halt?' but it's nothing like that,) says Ono with a laugh. (We're thinking about showing something that looks completely different from what previously shown, although it might be a while from now.)

(The ideas we have for the game is much larger now compared to when we first announced it,) he continues. (Rather, the ideas we had before might not have been good enough.)
