Stoic's indie turn-based RPG The Banner Saga has been released on iOS today for €8,99/£6.99/$9.99. The app is compatible with iPod Touch, iPad and iPhone systems, and is, as far as I'm aware, a straight port of the original PC title. While I wasn't a fan of the interface (which I imagine might work a little better on tablets) and I thought the combat system was ultimately flawed, I certainly enjoyed my time with the game and I'm very curious to see where the series is going with its second installment, so I'll be interested to see how this is received by mobile-focused players.
