I don't think anyone ever doubted that a long-overdue and well-orchestrated sequel to Wasteland could shift a lot of units across the RPG fanbase, but this post by inXile CEO Brian Fargo on Facebook certainly seems to smash most of our former expectations by confirming over a million dollars of sales already on launch weekend. Congatulations are in order:
We don't normally discuss finances but Wasteland 2 remains in the #1 spot on Steam and we just surpassed a million dollars in sales. Success for us means jobs and an ongoing ability to create the kinds of games we love. A great day for inXile and CRPGs.
