Deep Down Beta Delayed to 2015, New Footage

While there's still no word of a possible Western release, it's worth mentioning that Capcom has published a new 7-minute long gameplay footage video of Deep Down, with commentary (in Japanese, quite obviously) from developers Kazunori Sugiura and Teruki Miyashita. This is the best look at the game we got so far, and it's gorgeous to boot, so I definitely recommend giving it a watch:

Given I can't speak nor read Japanese, I have to rely on the translators at Gematsu to bring you the bad news. Apparently, the Japanese beta of the title has been delayed to a generic 2015 window. This likely means we're still far from a release in Japan, let alone in Europe or the Americas:

After further consulting with Yoshinori Ono, Sugiura was finally able to share that deep down's open beta will take place sometime in 2015. At the moment, Capcom are testing out all kinds of different things on the game, and ask fans to wait just a little longer.
