Pillars of Eternity Backer Beta Date Announced

We've yet to see a detailed gameplay look of Pillars of Eternity, but it looks like it might not be long until those of us who have backed the project will get to actually try the title thanks to its backers beta, whose start was pinpointed to August 18th by a recent announcement. More details to come in a Kickstarter update, but in the meantime, here's what producer Brandon Adler had to say about it:
Hey, everybody. I just wanted to announce that we have decided on a release date for the Backer Beta: August 18th.
We will discuss all of the particulars in a formal Kickstarter announcement, but we wanted you to hear about it first.
