While the Mac and Linux ports of Mount & Blade: Warband aren't quite ready for prime time yet, owners of the game on Steam have the chance to try their beta, as explained in this dev announcement. Here's how to do it:

To try out the beta on your Linux or Mac computer with Steam just complete the following steps:

1. Right click "Mount&Blade Warband" in your Steam Library and select "Properties".
2. In the window that pops up, navigate to the " BETAS" tab and select "Mac/Linux beta" in the dropdown menu.
3. Install the game and play!

Note that this is only for the main game, as the Napoleonic Wars expansion isn't supported yet.
