Wasteland 2 Beta Key Now Available for All Backers

The latest post-funding update for Wasteland 2 brings good news for all the backers that didn't have access to the crowd-funded RPG's beta: beta keys will be made available to all the backers of the project. Here's a snippet concerning the delivery method:

With release only two months out, we felt like this is the right time to expand Wasteland 2 beta access to all backers at any tier who are eligible for a copy of the game!

So that's what we're doing! Starting right now any backers whose Tier didn't include access to the WL2 digital deluxe edition can log into their accounts on the Ranger Center and find a Steam key for the Early Access version, under the "Donations" tab, bottom of the page. Note that keys will not be available to everyone simultaneously, if you instead find a "available soon" text this is not an error, it will be available as soon as possible. Upon Wasteland 2's release at the end of August, this beta version will turn into a final retail copy of the game.

And in case you backed Pillars of Eternity at a tier that included Wasteland 2 as a reward, you'll be happy to know you're also meant to receive a key soon:

As a reward in some of our Kickstarter tiers, our backers were offered a retail digital download of Wasteland 2. For those folks we are currently working with inXile to offer those backers early beta access to Wasteland 2, as well. We will keep you updated on when we can offer you those keys and how you can redeem them.

Wasteland 2 is meant to release by the end of August, and the beta for the title currently includes all the maps of the Arizona half of the game.
