Exploring the World of Dragon Age: Inquisition

The latest video from GameInformer's coverage of Dragon Age: Inquisition focuses on exploration, and it falls upon Mike Laidlaw to explain that BioWare isn't jumping on the open-world bandwagon but rather focusing on building larger, more explorable areas with plenty of details that the player might or might not discover.

There's not a lot of nitty-gritty mechanical talk, but the philosophy behind this choice seems sounder than I would have expected from the initial reveal, and Mark Darrah cited Baldur's Gate as their reference point, which sounds like a much more natural fit for BioWare than Skyrim or Morrowind.
