World of Warcraft's slow decline in subscription numbers continues, with Activision Blizzard's preliminary second quarter earnings results pinning them down to 7.7 million:
Additionally, Blizzard Entertainment's World of Warcraft® remained the world's #1 subscription-based MMORPG, ending the quarter with approximately 7.7 million subscribers.

Needless to say, these are still extremely impressive numbers, especially when compared to pretty much every single other large-scale MMO.
