State of Decay PC Info Tidbits, Will Release on Steam Early Access

I have to admit I wasn't aware there would be a livestream with State of Decay developers Undead Labs yesterday, but luckily for me community manager Sanya Weathers rounded up the most important tidbits on the official forums, including quite a lot of info on the still-unreleased PC version of the title:
Will the PC version have enhanced graphics? Higher res? Improved framerate? Yes. A high end PC can do all those things, so we're modifying the game to support those things. The PC version will not have different content or features, however.

What the PC version also won't have are modding tools (for time/testing reasons), but we have no objection to mods or modders, and we look forward to seeing what our PC players come up with.

Speaking of the PC version, Jeff confirmed that we are going to be taking part in Steam's Early Access program. That means we will be doing a controller-only PC version in advance of the final release for the purposes of feedback. The final version of the PC version will of course have keyboard/mouse support.

Finally, he confirmed that it would be out in 2013. We'll be more specific as soon as we can.

While we still don't have a release date, it's nice to have some more news on what's going on.

Thanks, Rock, Paper, Shotgun.
