Obsidian Entertainment had announced a while ago that they'd be releasing some gameplay footage, or environmental showcase to be more precise, in order to demonstrate their lighting and animation solutions for the previously released waterfall screenshot. Lo and behold, that's exactly what they did for update #49:



All in all this might be Obsidian's best looking game yet, which is ironic considering it's also probably their lowest-budget title and that it's serving a niche audience. Not that you're going to hear me complain about it.
