Some pre-alpha gameplay footage for Dead Island Riptide has been released on YouTube by Deep Silver, showcasing a game that is, unsurprisingly, very very similar to the original Dead Island.

The video lasts roughly 9:20 minutes and features one of the hub defense missions in the game and, of course, plenty of zombie-killing.
