Dragon Age III: Inquisition Looks "Stunningly Beautiful" According to Artist

As part of an interview that will get released in complete form only on paper, Official Xbox Magazine discussed Dragon Age III: Inquisition's art with BioWare's director of art and animation Neil Thompson, who has nothing but words of praise for the game's looks.

Apparently, a good chunk of it comes from moving from Eclipse to Frostbite:
"The Dragon Age artists were always slightly disappointed at how their work was visualised in the final product with Eclipse, but with Frostbite, they've just done some amazing stuff," he went on.

"There was a pre-production period where almost on a weekly basis I'd be sitting in the environment reviews and being blown away by what was coming out - it looks stunningly beautiful. So I think when we do start releasing screenshots, people won't be disappointed."

I do remember similar comments being uttered before Dragon Age II's unveiling, so I can't help but think this should be taken with a grain of salt. On the other hand, Frostbite 2 is the engine that powered the stunning Battlefield 3, so if nothing else its track record seems very solid.
