Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition Team Grows to Eight Former BioWare Designers

I've been adding new bullet points to the original Baldur's Gate/Baldur's Gate II Enhanced Edition announcement post on a regular basis, but every once in awhile I feel that some of the information being revealed through Trent Oster's Twitter feed deserves a little more attention. For example, we now know that at least eight former BioWare designers are working on the game(s) and that a recruitable BG:EE companion will be "romantically challenged", so I'll leave those specific additions for you to check out below:
'¢ There are now at least eight former BioWare people working on the titles, as well as comic artist Nat Jones.

'¢ We know there will be at least one additional recruitable companion in BG:EE, but he/she/it will be "romantically challenged" (non-humanoid?).

'¢ We'll now be able to zoom in and out, which should make things a bit easier to see and control on iPad.

'¢ In the event that the team moves on to a Planescape: Torment Enhanced Edition afterward, they would use the Infinity Enhanced Engine they've built off the Throne of Bhaal code base, which would add co-op multiplayer to the game for the first time.
I've also been making revisions to previous bullet points as more information is made available, so be sure to scan them all if you'd like to stay up to date.
