In the caves you can hear a clatter and in the high grass a rustle. If items, like barrels or old wood, linger near the beaches or shipwrecks inland, you may be able to spot the industrious ants carrying things day and night to their strongholds and hideouts. These industrious ants are guarded by their larger conspecific, ant warriors along the looting track.
Ants are normally more peaceful by nature as they primarily explore the area looking for new loot, but they are always on the look out for any potential danger. If the ants were disturbed in their work or provoked, they turn into frenzied monsters surrounding their opponents, spitting acid on them and engaging them with their sharp claws until the enemy flees or lays dead on the ground.
Therefore it is advisable to hike with cautious eyes in the jungles and along the beaches of Arborea.
