Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate II Enhanced Editions Will Support Cross-platform Multiplayer

In what has to be one of the more interesting revelations to come from Overhaul Games about their Baldur's Gate Enhanced Editions, designer Trent Oster has tweeted that the games will support cross-platform multiplayer, meaning that PC, Mac, and iPad users will all be able to share the Bhaalspawn experience together if they so desire.
Yes, it will be compatible multi-player cross-platform. We had a Mac, iPad and PC joined into a game together.
Very cool. And don't forget to keep an eye on the original announcement post, where I continue to keep track of any and all news pertaining to BG:EE and BG2:EE.
