Dragon Age II: Exalted March Expansion Pack Was Cancelled For "Other DA Opportunities"

Following his letter to the community about the future of the Dragon Age franchise, executive producer Mark Darrah has surprised us all by tweeting that the team was actively developing a Dragon Age II: Exalted March expansion pack that was ultimately cancelled in lieu of "other DA opportunities". It was apparently far enough along to have promotional t-shirts created for it, too:
We did have plans for an expansion pack to DA2 but, other DA opportunities came up. There were even shirts! It was called Exalted March.
