38 Studios' Project Copernicus Releasing This Year?

Launching an MMORPG is no easy task and usually isn't even taken into consideration by any of the parties involved until several months of successful beta testing have passed by. And that's why it's so strange to hear 38 Studios' Todd McFarlane mention that the team plans to release Project Copernicus later this year in a new video interview with Up at Noon, particularly because we don't have any indication of when a beta or even alpha test period will begin nor do we even have an official title for the game:
