After discovering that Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning was #4 on the NPD sales charts for February, Joystiq prodded the service for an exact sales number and was told that it equated to 330,000 retail copies sold across all three platforms in the US. Coupled with overseas retail and worldwide digital sales, I suspect that the game is doing quite well for a new IP:

It was a little surprising to see Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning sitting pretty at number four in the NPD software sales charts for February, an impressive feat for a brand new IP. But what does the number translate to in actual sales? NPD tells Joystiq that Reckoning sold a total of 330,000 copies in the US across Xbox, PS3 and PC last month.
