Borderlands 2 Interview

Official Xbox Magazine has a fairly brief interview with Gearbox Software's producer Matt Charles on the upcoming Borderlands 2, with subjects ranging from how the developers are attempting to improve the story this time around to eventual DLC plans. Here's a snip on the latter:
OXM: We're assuming that there's a big plan in place for DLC to support Borderlands 2. Can you shed any light on what the team's thinking is on post-release content after the success of DLC for the original? How important did it become to the game seeing how well stuff like Dr. Ned's and Mad Moxxie did?

MATT: We're all a bit too busy on getting Borderlands 2 finished so it's still too early for me us to think about DLC! For the first game, add-on content was very important to us our schedules were intense, but we had a lot of fun exploring concepts and experiment with what ideas we had in the back of our mind after the game went into certification and shipped. It was a fun process as we got to bring out things that we truly thought our community and fans would enjoy. The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned was our chance to explore the zombie theme, and luckily for us, the fans enjoyed the tone/environment change as much as we did! That was very encouraging, so that same team returned for The Secret Armory of General Knoxx with the general direction of "Let's do something that touches more on a Road Warrior-esque theme in the Borderlands universe" and just knocked that one out of the park.
