BioWare New York Comic-Con Report

BioWare was busy promoting all things Dragon Age, Mass Effect, and Star Wars: The Old Republic at last weekend's New York Comic-Con, and that's prompted community manager Jessica Merizan to kick out three separate blog posts (part one, part two, and part three) on Facebook that details all of the events and other happenings that took place. Comics and assault rifles, go:
The Dragon Age team has partnered with Dark Horse Comics to bring us a new graphic series, authored by David Gaider. The first storyline in this series will feature an amazing trio: Alistair, Isabela, and Varric. Pretty sure I screamed louder than anyone else there. Still a little shocked that I'll be dreaming about my favorite romance option again. Alistair, if you break my heart again, I don't know what I'll do!

After issuing panel attendees with omniblades and listening to an inspiring Q&A, I ran over to the Dragon Age panel. Both talks had lines that unfortunately far exceeded room capacity (Dear NYCC, BioWare is taking over the Con next year!) but again, for those of you who were at home, or were not able to get a seat, I've recorded both panels and will post ASAP! The Dragon Age panel focused on Mark of the Assassin and the future of the franchise.

I also saw the new M8 Assault Rifle created by Project Triforce. This massive 34) replica is twenty pounds, featuring LED lighting (powered by a mini USB no need for batteries! It's the future) and hand painted detailing. They've started pre-orders and it's already a popular item. Visit Triforce for more information.
And before you go pre-ordering that assault rifle, please realize that it's $650.
