Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning's World is as Big as Oblivion's

I personally belong to the 'quality is more important than quantity' camp, but I suppose for fans of the sandbox Elder Scrolls-like RPG gameplay it will be nice to hear that, going by what GamesRadar reports, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning's world is comparable in size to Oblivion. Here are the precise words spoken by associate producer Craig Kristolic:
(I've looked at this, and if I look at something like Oblivion, it's very comparable in size,) he said, though we shouldn't expect the worlds to look all that similar, even if they're approximately the same size.

(They're slightly different scales, though,) he explained. (In Oblivion you have the central city and the area around that. We have a fairly vast area that's spread out a little bit more with a lot smaller cities and towns within it.)

As long as the content is hand-crafted as worth playing, 'spread out' sounds just fine to me.
