We're used to the male Shepard being the face of the franchise, but BioWare marketing director David Silverman has been talking on twitter about the female Shepard being used in a similar role, a move that makes sense given her popularity. Both Shepards will be on the Collector's Edition box and an upcoming trailer will feature FemShep.

@SilentKittyK the CE of #ME3 has both #FemShep and male Shepard on the box.
