In their visit to BioWare's Edmonton studio, the guys at GameInformer managed to to snap some photos of preliminary artwork that was being considered for the original game's cover.

It's interesting to see how the concept slowly evolved to the final cover, which, to be perfectly honest, I always found a little underwhelming.
