The range of firearms is as impressive as it is devastating, from pistols with intense kickback, to scoped rifles and meaty assault rifles, each encounter is underlined by the stellar production values on show.

One combat augmentation we saw swapped out Jensen's bullet cache for flechettes, giving him the ability to curve bullets over and around cover to pick off more defensive guards in the area.

RPG fans may balk at the shooting system, which seems to be based on pure action, rather than dice roll mechanics and stat crunching.

However, Human Revolution's myriad selection of mechanics - both action and RPG oriented - meld so perfectly that if you're a fan of either genre, you will undoubtedly get your fix here.
