The Witcher 2 to Ship in Eleven Different Languages

CD Projekt RED sent over a press release early this morning announcing that The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings will support eleven languages on release day, with more language packs being made available for download following the game's release. Read on for the details:

CD Projekt Red is pleased to announce that the eagerly awaited worldwide release of The Witcher 2 on May 17 will include a total of 11 languages.

Full voice and text: English, German, Russian, French, Polish
Subtitled: Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, Czech, Hungarian

To ensure that the audio meets the highest possible standards, we have employed our own in-house localization team as well as professional interpreters and voice actors.  In addition, we have closely supervised and coordinated all versions of the text.
English and Polish language packs with full audio and text will be available at release for all registered users to download.  As requested by some of our most enthusiastic fans, it will once again be possible to listen in one language while reading the other.  
The languages provided in-pack in both the Premium Edition and the Collector's Edition of The Witcher 2 will vary by region as follows:
