The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Maps Revealed

Fansite Witcher2Game.com has uploaded eight of the in-game, hand-drawn maps (showing La Valette Castle, its dungeons, and the nearby harbor) that we'll be using to navigate our way through The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. I've always felt that a great mapping system was an important element to any RPG, and it looks like CD Projekt RED's sequel will deliver in this department.

One key point that we're able to discern from these images is that markers are placed for Geralt's current location, tracked quests, important NPCs, craftsmen, shops, and inns. It also looks like we'll be able to zoom in and out, so getting a bird's eye view of an entire region is likely going to be an option.
