As a special thank you for helping with the game's early success, BioWare would like to present you with a download code for 2010's Game of the Year, Mass Effect 2 on PC. As always, we sincerely appreciate your support and passion as we remain focused on delivering quality interactive experiences now and in the future. Sequel Celebration FAQ
1. What is the Sequel Celebration?
As a special thank you to our fans for helping with the Dragon Age II's early success, BioWare would like present them with a download code for 2010's Game of the Year, Mass Effect 2 on PC.
2. Who qualifies for the Sequel Celebration?
All Dragon Age II game owners who purchased a new copy of Dragon Age II and follow the below steps before April 30th at 11:59pm PDT qualify.
3. How do I get my copy of Mass Effect 2?
To qualify and get your Mass Effect 2 PC download code, please follow these steps before April 30, 2011 at 11:59pm PDT:
* Purchase your copy of Dragon Age II (if you do not already own one).
* Activate the Online Pass content that came with your copy of Dragon Age II (The Black Emporium).
* Start the game and log in using your EA Account or create a new EA Account.
* Visit http://social.bioware.com/me2offer/ and log in with that EA Account.
* Enter your Online Pass code and click "Submit". You will then be provided the code for Mass Effect 2.
* Open the EA Download Manager and enter the code to commence download (if you don't have the EA Download Manager installed, it can be found here: http://www.ea.com/1/download-manager)
NOTE: Please allow 72 hours between time of online pass activation and submitting your online pass code on http://social.bioware.com/me2offer/.
4. I lost my online pass code, can I still participate in this offer? Yes, follow the instructions below to get a Mass Effect 2 code if you have lost your online pass code:
* Visit http://social.bioware.com/me2offer/ and log in with that EA Account.
* Click "Lost my Code".
* The system will check that you have activated the Online Pass content that came with your copy of Dragon Age II (The Black Emporium).
* If you have activated the Online Pass content, you will then be provided the code for Mass Effect 2.
* Open the EA Download Manager and enter the code to commence download.
NOTE: Please allow 72 hours between time of online pass activation and using the lost code tool.
5. I play on the Xbox 360 or Playstation 3, can I get a console copy instead?
No, the offer is for a digital download through the EA Store for Mass Effect 2 on the PC.
6. Can I use a different digital distributor?
No, this offer is only available through Electronic Arts and the EA Download Manager.
7. Will I be able to get this after April 30 11:59pm PDT?
No. This is a special limited time offer as part of our Sequel Celebration, so activate your Dragon Age II online pass and get your copy of Mass Effect 2 today.
8. I bought Dragon Age II used, am I still eligible to get the copy of Mass Effect 2?
Yes, but you must first purchase and install the Online Pass content (The Black Emporium). Then follow the steps you would take if you lost your code (Question #4). Please allow 72 hours between time of purchase and using the lost code tool.
9. What if I activate my Online Pass and the website redemption is not available? Am I still eligible to get the copy of Mass Effect 2?
As long as you purchase Dragon Age II, redeem the online pass, and log into your EA account in-game before 11:59pm PDT on April 30th, you will be eligible for this offer. If the site http://social.bioware.com/me2offer/ is not available or we were unable to verify that you have activated your Online Pass, please contact the EA Customer Support team at http://support.ea.com/. Please allow 72 hours before contacting customer support after redeeming your online pass and logging into Dragon Age II.
10. The Cerberus Network was not included in my 'Sequel Celebration' copy of Mass Effect 2.
