The Witcher 2 Hasn't Been Dumbed Down Nor Consolized

I unfortunately didn't catch the live Q&A that CD Projekt RED hosted for The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings last week, but I'm sure we can all imagine why senior producer Tomasz Gop made a point of stating that the sequel "has not been dumbed down" nor "consolized" during it.
Speaking in an online Q&A session, CD Projekt's Tomasz Gop has reassured players that The Witcher 2 has not been a victim of dumbing-down.

(The combat has absolutely not been dumbed down,) he said while engaging in a frantic action sequence, (nor has the game been consolised.)

The different combat styles from the first game will still be present in The Witcher 2, with players able to switch between '˜fast' and '˜heavy' modes.

However, controllers will be supported.
