World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Reviews

The web is home to a few more reviews for Blizzard's World of Warcraft: Cataclysm expansion pack, and they're all pretty favorable.

GameInformer gives it a "B":
Luckily for me, the two things I care about most in an MMO are Cataclysm's strong suit: fun PvE challenges and engaging moment-to-moment gameplay. If and when the PvP issues are addressed and archaeology gets interesting, I can see this grade improving. Until that time, Blizzard will have to amuse itself during the hours it can't sleep because I gave Cataclysm a B with buying islands and third-world countries with the gigantic stacks of money it continues to make off of World of Warcraft.

Ten Ton Hammer gives it an "A-":
Looking at the game overall, I think it leaves us a bit short since it was only 5 levels, and has many other issues as discussed throughout this review. However, it is nice that after a month still not everything is done by everyone, there are still things to do, the difficulty of heroics and raids has been notched up, and not every raiding guild has every boss down on day one. It also is night and day better than anything else out there right now.

And Plasma Station gives it a 9.3/10:
World of Warcraft just keeps on building, I don't think any game is quiet like it. It's the ultimate MMORPG that no one can face or compare too. It triumphs over anything, and prevails with every expansion. It keeps on growing and grabs new players to experience the World of Warcraft!
