Deus Ex: Human Revolution Viral Site Launched

Whether you're for or against the use of "viral" marketing for video games, it's pretty tough to find fault with this "official" Sarif Industries website - the Detroit-based biotechnology firm that will play a significant role in Deus Ex: Human Revolution by manufacturing many of the augmentations we'll be using. Here's "what they do":
Sarif Industries specializes in the design and manufacture of advanced mechanical augmentations for human implantation. The company distinguishes itself from its competitors by working with clients to create progressive, forward-thinking, custom augmentations that answer specific challenges and needs. The company strongly believes that the research, development, and implementation of augmentations is a measure of human advancement towards a better future and a stronger, faster, smarter, better you.

Sarif maintains an in-house staff of doctors and nurses in addition to HET (Human Enhancement Technologies) scientists and researchers, who are trained to work with clients to determine individual needs.

Sarif offers clients comprehensive, pre-operational screenings free of charge so as to better understand their personal challenges and needs.
You know, I'm really digging the direction that Eidos Montreal and Square Enix have taken this game and its marketing. It's clear that they care about the franchise, they're not simply focusing on the action-loving shooter crowd, and we're not getting hammered with a bunch of PR buzzwords and over exaggerated statements.  It's refreshing.
