A JoWood employee posted on the Steam forums that GameStop has broken the street date for Arcania: Gothic 4 in North America and digital download services were given permission to follow suit. The game is now available from GameStop (and likely other retailers), Steam, GamersGate and Direct2Drive.

(Original Story) Steam has made Arcania: Gothic 4 available worldwide a few days prior to its actual release date. It's not too unusual for digital download to break street dates, but it might get temporarily pulled again.
