Snacks & Medicinals
The citizens of Rapture certainly enjoyed their luxuries before things started to go south in the underwater city. Throughout the game, you'll come across a variety of food, drinks, and medical supplies that can help patch you up when the Splicers are getting the best of you. All of these items (except for the EVE Hypo, First Aid Kit, and Spider Splicer Organ) are consumed or used immediately when picked up.

Arcadia Merlot Arcadia Merlot
A bottle of Arcadia Merlot will restore a small amount of health, but drain a small amount of EVE. Apparently the citizens of Rapture only enjoyed red wine because this is the only kind you'll find.

Bandages Bandages
Applying a roll of bandages to your wounds will provide a modest boost to your health. If you're at full health already, leave the bandages for a rainy day.

Chechnya Vodka Chechnya Vodka
A bottle of Chechnya Vodka will restore a small amount of health, but drain a small amount of EVE. Too bad there aren't any orange trees in Rapture.

Cigarettes Cigarettes
A pack of cigarettes will give you a very small boost of EVE. They'll also lead to emphysema and cancer, but, hey, this is just a video game.

Coffee Coffee
The burst of caffeine from coffee will restore a small amount of EVE. Coffee drinkers - stop by Dandy Dental for a free teeth whitening with the purchase of any of our other services!

Creme-filled Cake Creme-filled Cake
This delicious creme-filled cake will give you a small amount of health. Too bad it doesn't work that way in the real world.

EVE Hypo EVE Hypo
A syringe packed with enough EVE to restore a significant portion of your blue bar. A necessity for all plasmid lovers.

Fine Gin Fine Gin
A bottle of Fine Gin will restore a small amount of health, but drain a small amount of EVE. This particular alcohol is a rare find in Rapture.

First Aid Kit First Aid Kit
A kit containing everything necessary to restore a significant portion of your health bar. Make the Splicers work harder to bring you down!

Lacas Scotch Lacas Scotch
A bottle of Lacas Scotch will restore a small amount of health, but drain a small amount of EVE. A good choice for washing down that creme-filled cake.

Moonbeam Absinthe Moonbeam Absinthe
A bottle of Moonbeam Absinthe will restore a small amount of health, but drain a small amount of EVE. Look for this tasty liquor wherever Sander Cohen resides.

Old Harbinger Beer Old Harbinger Beer
A bottle of Old Harbinger Beer will restore a small amount of health, but drain a small amount of EVE. This is Rapture's top-selling beer, brewed to perfection in one of the city's distilleries.

Old Tom Whiskey Old Tom Whiskey
A bottle of Old Tom Whiskey will restore a small amount of health, but drain a small amount of EVE. An excellent alternative if Lacas Scotch doesn't sit too well in your stomach.

Pep Bar Pep Bar
A tasty Pep Bar will replenish small amounts of health and EVE. A Little Sister favorite.

Potato Chips Potato Chips
A bag of delicious potato chips will give you a small amount of health. And anal leakage.

Red Ribbon Brandy Red Ribbon Brandy
A bottle of Red Ribbon Brandy will restore a small amount of health, but drain a small amount of EVE. This liquor is so rare that you may not even believe it exists, but it does. Check the apartments in Olympus Heights.

Spider Splicer Organ Spider Splicer Organ
Once you've reached Research Level 2 with Spider Splicers, you can steal their organs and use them as First Aid Kits. Nasty, but delicious.
