Rapture's U-Invent vending machines are truly a marvel of modern engineering, but they're still not able to construct useful tools out of thin air. Therefore, you'll have to feed a variety of components into your favorite U-Invent station before it will produce the item you want. Keep in mind that some of these items are commonly found on enemy corpses and containers, but others are considerably harder to find. Search everything you can and use the Scrounger tonic to increase your chances of looting the components you need.

	Alcohol
	A jug of this stuff has many uses, but we're only concerned about its ability to aid in item construction.

	Battery
	Without this device, you won't meet the energy requirements to finish your invention.

	Chlorophyll Solution
	No, not Chloroform. We're talking about extracted plant pigment, here.

	Distilled Water
	A container of water free of impurities, thanks to the distillation process.
	Used to Build: Electric Gel x25, Heat-Seeking RPG x2, Lazarus Vector x1

	Empty Hypo
	A hypodermic syringe that's, well, empty.
	Used to Build: Bloodlust x1, Booze Hound x1, Hacker's Delight 2 x1

	Enzyme Sample
	A sample of protein used to catalyze the chemical reactions needed during the construction process.

	Glue
	The bonding solution necessary to keep your invented item in tip-top condition for years to come!

	Kerosene
	A highly flammable fuel needed to produce something I like to call "invention energy."

	Rubber Hose
	A lengthy hollow tube made from an elastic hydrocarbon polymer. Or, in other words, a rubber hose.

	Shell Casing
	The cartridge used to house the bullet(s), gunpowder, and primer for whatever type of ammunition you're making.

	A threaded fastener used to hold your other invention components together.
