Hades Console Release Date Announced

Supergiant Games' award-winning roguelite action-RPG Hades will be making its Xbox and PlayStation debut on August 13, 2021. And when that happens, those of you with an Xbox Game Pass subscription will be able to pick Hades up without paying anything extra.

We're very excited to announce that our Game of the Year-winning rogue-like dungeon crawler, Hades, is coming to Xbox and PlayStation consoles on August 13! It will be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.

Coming to Xbox Game Pass!

What's more, Hades will be joining Xbox Game Pass for Xbox and Windows 10! This means Game Pass subscribers will have immediate access to the game on August 13.

Physical Editions Up for Pre-Order!

In addition to the digital editions, we're excited to offer new physical editions published by Private Division. The Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S versions are on a single disc, while PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions are sold separately. Find your nearest retailer on Private Division's Hades web site!

Note: Both the physical and digital PlayStation 4 versions of Hades include a free upgrade to the digital PlayStation 5 version.

Bonus Physical Extras

These new boxed versions of Hades include a complimentary download code for the Hades Original Soundtrack, featuring two and a half hours of blood-pumping music by Darren Korb, and a 32-page full-color character compendium booklet with artwork from the game by Jen Zee. The first pressing of these versions also features a unique foil cover!

Technical Details

The Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of Hades run at 1080p at a target 60 frames per second. The Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 versions run at 4K at a target 60 frames per second.

Note: These new versions of Hades do not support PC cross-saves like the previously released Nintendo Switch version.
