Side Quest: From Ofier's Distant Shores

Did we miss anything in this location? Is there something we didn't discover? Let us know!

Background

You can trigger this quest when you look at the wares of the Ofieri merchant at the Upper Mill in the Novigrad Far Outskirts (#1), or when you pick up any of the untranslated Ofieri diagrams (#3-6).

Walkthrough

When you talk to the Ofieri merchant, he'll tell you that he was robbed by bandits on his way to the Upper Mill, and that they stole equipment diagrams "fit for a king." When you ask him where this robbery took place, he'll only remember that there was a ruined residence to the north.

You'll find the robbery site a ways to the south (#2). If you search the area using your witcher senses, then you'll discover lots of footprints heading north. By following the footprints, then a blood trail, and then the footprints again, you'll discover a hatch leading to an underground bandit hideout (#3). Inside the hideout, you'll encounter some level 33 fallen knights, but you'll also find the untranslated diagram for Ofieri Scale Armor and a Letter with Orders.

When you read the Letter with Orders, you'll learn the location of three more bandit camps, each one with an untranslated diagram: Ofieri Boots (#4), Ofieri Gauntlets (#5), and Ofieri Sharovary (#6). Once you've collected all four untranslated diagrams, when you return them to the Ofieri merchant (#1), he'll begin translating and copying them for you. This will take some time, but when you return to him the next day (after 6AM), he'll give you your copy of the diagrams, which will complete the quest.
