One vampire skill demonstrated was "obfuscation" -- being able to blend into the darkness and move undetected. As one's skill in this area improves, it can become possible to cloak even while bolting full-tilt boogie, but interacting with other characters still terminates the invisibility. Other skills allow characters to detect enemies through solid objects, light up the surrounding area with magic pyrotechnics, slap enemies with slow-down spells, and drain the blood reserves of other vampires.
Sometimes you'll just want to dispense with the supernatural superfluences and break out the weapons. One of the more entertaining bits of character interaction we witnessed was with the hilarious, sleazy arms dealer Fat Larry. If your character is female he'll lay the come-ons with a trowel, but in either case he can get you both street-level and high-powered weaponry, which can come in handy against human and non-human targets.
