When Brad logged in, the first thing he did was show me around the immediate area. He duked it out with a couple skeletons, to show me what combat was like, and ran around a bit. But that wasn't what really amazed me. What I saw was something that far out shadows anything I have seen yet. The graphics for this world are not overly-realistic, but at the same time they are more beautiful than any of the games I have seen yet. EQ2, Final Fantasy Online, and WoW don't hold a candle to Vanguard graphically in my eyes. But again, this is something you will just have to see to really understand at all.
Next Brad showed me a little close-up map of the continent they are currently working on. There is quite a bit to see and ogle over here, and I am sure that what I saw was only the smallest of what there is to see. I can only imagine how long it would take to explore this single continent of Telon, let alone the entire world.
