Now that both Obsidian and Bethesda are part of Microsoft, VGC reports that VentureBeat's Jeff Grubb (no relation to the TSR designer) was recently made aware of some early developments regarding a potential sequel to Obsidian's Fallout: New Vegas. According to Grubb, the project is not even in pre-production just yet, but at least it's on the table.

Here's a quick quote from the man:

“This is very early, but people have begun to have talks and say these words in sentences, and those words are ‘Obsidian’ and ‘New Vegas 2’,” Grubb said.

“We’re talking years and years away. There’s at least an interest and conversations happening about making something like that actually a reality.”
