I'll see how this develops. DAI wasn't great, more of a mixed bag, but I didn't hate it. This cinematic offered nothing new though I guess? If you've played through the Trespasser DLC that is. DA4 has been teased for a very long time now. I wonder where the game is in terms of development.

I recently installed Underworld, but the paperdolls of my party are gone. Was this part of an update?

Given Bioware's enormous fall from grace, I doubt very much this will be worthwhile. I mean their antagonist here looks like the ridiculous villain Damodar from the 2000 D&D movie.This series is little more than a bad joke now (much like Bioware itself). Constantly re-writes its own in-world rules (no teleporting), hasty and sloppy design (DA2 in its entirety), narratives that make absolutely no sense (DAI, fighting to keep the antagonist out of the Fade...and is "defeated" by sending him to the Fade).Bioware is a spent force. Classic Bioware ended after the releases of DAO and ME2. It's been falling apart since and is little more than a crumbling ruin now.

Finish the damn game and release it, then I'll care.

I fully agree with what you said, but I'm not wired that way to just "ignore" a random marking. The very thought! ;-)

I thought all of that was done quite nicely in W3. You'd quickly realize there's little benefit in checking out those random questionmarks on the map, and at least I just skipped the vast majority. I do think it'd be better if there was a setting where they simply wouldn't show at all.And yes, apart from the millions of questionmarks, Ard Skellige was incredible. I kind of wish it'd have lasted a bit longer!

I replayed TW3 in newgame+ mode some time after finishing my first playthrough, coz I wanted to explore different options and outcomes (I was pretty goody-two-shoes on my first playthrough) and it felt different enough to hold my interest to the end. The second time around, however, I skipped most locations that offer nothing but random loot and money, especially all those pointless floating debris in Ard Skellige.

Not sure if I am THAT thrilled by this news... Open World often boils down to a lot of tedious map-icon hunting.I adore TW3, but I'll probably never replay it because of that.Ard Skellige was a nightmare in this regard. The quests and music were among the best gaming ever, though.

Wow. I played through this game just once (around the time it came out), but still remember parts of it very vividly. The game was pretty brutal, but the combat was a lot of fun. I played the knight character who's good with a sword and a shield. The only thing is a shield can only take so much beating before breaking, so you really needed to use it only when you needed it. I can see the graphics haven't aged very gracefully though!
