It's nice you can choose your team, but that's something you can do in M&B1, we keep just getting stuff that should have been in since day 1, I know this is still beta, but dang it.

Also, why are you complaining about the difficulty when they literally give you a choice?

I don't like this review, it's not the game's fault that you fucking suck at it. I beat the final boss on my second try.

I went back to it recently as well, starting the Onslaught storyline and starting up a new character to play through the class story again (Smuggler).

Most games that have 3rd person have a choice, like you can zoom right into first person as an example. It doesn't appear hard to do, I mean if Swtor can handle it so should any f'ing game. Take resources?

As long as it doesn't take resources away from first person.I wonder if there'll be a day when it's player's choice though - God of War/Tomb Raider/Action Brawlers in first person, Outer Worlds and Avowed etc in third.

Let's hope 3rd person is an option.

Tried playing like that, both the 'roll with it,' and 'come back for the white checks.'And my luck was so rotten, that I literally ended up soft-locking the game. There was no source of XP left for me to find I hadn't burned that way already, at least what I could find playing blind.Not only that but... I just wasn't enjoying being an idiot in every single discipline. Even if you so pump up a stat to high heavens, there's always those darn snake eyes, and suddenly it doesn't matter what you've specialized in.i'm glad for everybody that genuinely enjoyed that game, but I'd honestly rather try replaying Daikatana then even touch Disco Elysium ever again. That whole 'lol, random' design choice was just like chewing aluminum foil for me after a few hours.

It does do some innovative things and what it's trying to do it actually does very well. But yes, an adventure game with the structure of a more conventional RPG would be a fair description. Except adventure games usually have puzzle- solving gameplay, while here there are only a couple of confusing moments which could be considered quasi puzzles.
