Perks: Level 14
Adamantium Skeleton (1 Rank)

Prerequisite: None

With the Adamantium Skeleton perk, your limbs only receive 50% of the damage they normally would.

Our grade: D. This perk can offset the Small Frame trait, but it probably won't help you enough to be worthwhile.

Center of Mass (1 Rank)

Prerequisite: Guns 70

You don't fool around with fancy trick shots. Straight to the midsection and down they go. In V.A.T.S., you do an additional 15% damage with attacks targeting the torso.

Our grade: D. Extra damage is good, but the torso is the worst place to hit an enemy.

Chemist (1 Rank)

Prerequisite: Medicine 60

With the Chemist perk, any chems you take last twice as long.

Our grade: C. This perk affects alcohol as well as drugs, and so you might want to think about it if you're planning to use Cass as a companion. But otherwise, drugs are fairly optional in the game, making this perk fairly optional as well.

Jury Rigging (1 Rank)

Prerequisite: Repair 90

You possess the amazing ability to repair any item using a roughly similar item. Fix a Trail Carbine with a Hunting Rifle, a Plasma Defender with a Laser Pistol, or even Power Armor with Metal Armor. How does it work? Nobody knows... except you.

Our grade: B. This is an extremely useful utility perk, which can save you thousands upon thousands of caps in repair bills, not to mention make it easier for you to repair your gear in the field. Just as examples, this perk allows you to use Varmint Rifles to repair Anti-Materiel Rifles, and Metal Armor to repair T-51b Power Armor.

Light Step (1 Rank)

Prerequisite: Perception 6, Agility 6

With the Light Step perk, you'll never set off an enemy's mines or floor-based traps.

Our grade: D. There just aren't enough traps in the game to make this perk worthwhile.

Purifier (1 Rank)

Prerequisite: None

As a purifier of the wasteland, you do +50% damage with Melee and Unarmed attacks against Centaurs, Nightstalkers, Spore Plants, Spore Carriers, Deathclaws, Super Mutants, and Feral Ghouls.

Our grade: C. The enemies affected by this perk are all reasonably powerful, and so a damage bonus against them is useful, but obviously the perk will only help you if you're playing a Melee or Unarmed character.
