Over time, weapons and armor wear down until they eventually break. Equipment found in the labyrinth is almost always worn by time and improper care. Warriors can perform quick repairs on such equipment using this valuable skill.
Search (Hellfire)
The Hellfire expansion added the Monk class, and with it came a new skill called "Search". Using the skill highlights all of the items lying on the ground so you'll no longer have to scan the area with the mouse pointer. Search is also available as a spell so that the other three classes can make use of it.
Staff Recharge
Throughout the game, you will come across staves that contain focused magical energy. Each staff will have a limit to how many times it can unleash its specific power, but fortunately Sorcerers have the innate ability to recharge them.
Trap Disarm
The labyrinth is an extremely dangerous place, full of hideous beasts and deadly traps. Luckily, the Rogue begins with the ability to disarm these traps, thus increasing her chance of survival when exploring the dungeon below Tristram.
