I just can't see buying this product, unless my computer dies and I lose everything, but ya, I just don't see it, based on my mods and installs. Still I appreciate the thought behind it.

Starflight was a truly awesome game for its time with a wide open galaxy and endless, enormous planets you could explore.

I really love cutscenes. I think they help me to immerse in the story and can really augment the narration when done well. They also allow cinematic scenes that can’t easily be done in game. For example, the few scripted scenes in Skyrim fell flat because the game got in its own way, such as “crowd” scenes with only a handful of NPCs since the engine couldn’t manage an actual crowd.

I don't know, their real time system felt pretty unique. Might be good to keep developing on that.

Sounds interesting, thanks for the preview. I always tend to stay away from early access, but this preview put this game on my radar for when it comes out.

Wish they had stuck with turn-based. Still, wish them the best of luck with the game.

I definitely would have bought into Stargate and World of Darkness, likely sometime at 3 am when I make bad decisions. I just don't love MMOs unless you can just do you own thing and get a nice story, that's Secret World, Star Wars the Old Republic and Star Trek. Guild Wars was kind of like that, I was able to dual box 99% of the content and had fun with that. Otherwise, I just don't spend much time in them. Star Trek has a pekemon like collect them all for the ships aspect. I'll advised to get involved in that, you don't need any of them lolI will just add, I have been terribly disappointed with how Paradox has handled the license so far, a First Person Bloodlines 2 and a fixed protagonist RPG Werewolf game. I can kind of understand, but not agree with the First Person thing, but a fixed protagonist game? This is an RPG universe, I don't get it.

It's much easier to orient yourself in a level if you turn the highlights for interactive objects on in the options. Also levels now have exit points which bring up the ship map when you step on them.

64 bit is super nice, I will keep an eye on it, I might actually pick these up if they did that properly.

Yeah, the obsession with the Amazon's appearance, which you can barely see when zoomed out, is embarrassing. You'd think gamers would have grown up a bit since 2000...
