Three More Warhammer Online Servers Being Taken Offline

As part of our ongoing efforts to maintain an active, competitive, and engaging experience in WAR we have decided to open free transfers for players to specific servers. WAR, more than many games, only gets better with more people. These transfers will enable players to experience more action during all hours whether fighting in scenarios or Open RvR.
To make this process easier we have provided specific details concerning these new transfer options below, please read and follow any instructions carefully. We are currently targeting next week to enable the transfers, for now please use this time to organize yourself and your friends to ensure a smooth transition to your new home.
North American Servers:
For players on the North America Servers, we are opening up the following free transfer options:
Iron Rock -> Gorfang
Volkmar -> Gorfang
To facilitate this we will be enabling the multi-realm ability for Gorfang. This allows accounts to have both Order and Destruction characters on the server and increases the character limit to 20. There will be an 8 hour lockout when switching realms on the server.
This option will be available as of 02/09/11.
At that time will we also mark '˜Iron Rock' and '˜Volkmar' as Legacy servers to prevent new accounts from registering on those servers. We are doing the above in an effort to encourage players to move to Gorfang. After a period of 3 weeks, we will switch Iron Rock and Volkmar to retired. At that point, players will need to transfer their characters to Gorfang (via a free transfer) or another server (via a paid transfer) to access them. The game will prompt you to do this when you attempt to choose those servers from the list.
Along with the above changes, we will make the following adjustments to Badlands:
'¢ Badlands will once again be an option for Trial players.
'¢ Badlands will now be a viable destination server for paid server transfers.
'¢ Badlands will now be removed from the source server list for paid server transfers.
EU Servers:
For players on the German Servers, we are opening up the following free transfer option:
Carroburg -> Drakenwald
To facilitate this we will be enabling the multi-realm ability for Drakenwald. This allows accounts to have both Order and Destruction characters on the server and increases the character limit to 20. There will be an 8 hour lockout when switching realms on the server.
This option will be available as of 02/09/11.
At that time will we also mark Carroburg as a Legacy server to prevent new accounts from registering on that server.
