Remember when we told you that buying the 2004 release of The Bard's Tale on iTunes earned you free copies of the original Bard's Tale trilogy? Well, thanks to a trio of screenshots released by inXile's Brian Fargo, we now know that those free copies are going to be new iOS ports of the series rather than the standard PC releases. And to help you make the decision about whether or not inXile's comedic release is worth the price of entry, here's a new trailer:


You know, I just might pick these up. I haven't played the original titles in probably 20 years now, and would love to make a return to Skara Brae on my iPad if the controls are intuitive and comfortable.
