Aglurs are humanoid, frog-like creatures that are very adept at the magical arts (being well-versed in both Violet and Blue magic). Rare and amazing, they are also bestowed with a legendary temper, making them very difficult to defeat. Their nature and origins are relatively unknown; it is rumored that they were the result of some powerful wizard's attempt at playing God, or perhaps just a freak of magical nature. Regardless of what they are or where they came from, woe to any adventurer who chooses to not take them seriously.
Aglurs especially like to use summoning or petrification to deal with enemies, not liking to enter into melee combat if it can be avoided. They are somewhat susceptible to blunt weapons, and more resistant to piercing ones.
