Description

Worn down by years of hard luck and a recent rash of terrible misfortunes, Cass is a despondent merchant who's about to get out of the caravan business. She's smart, tough, and steady with a gun, but she hasn't been savvy enough to survive the ruthless caravan wars that have flared up in Nevada since NCR's expansion. Though she's quick to join up with the player for some easy money, she's still interested in finding out if she's been suffering from bad luck or something more sinister.


How to Recruit

You'll find Cass bellied up to the bar in the Mojave Outpost barracks. After taking on the quest You Can Depend On Me and negotiating the sale of Cassidy Caravans, Cass can be convinced to tag along with you in the wasteland.

• Cass is the daughter of Cassidy, a companion from Fallout 2.
  
  
• If you ask Cass about Whiskey, then she'll teach you the recipe for Moonshine.
  
  
• Cass won't approve of you if your karma is too low. The first two times this happens, you'll be able to talk your way out of it (you'll get Speech checks for this, but they're not required). The third time, Cass will leave you for good. The only way to prevent this is to avoid talking to her.
