After arriving in Bloodstone and consorting with Reaver, you'll find that you're now the target of periodic ambushes by dark-clothed highwaymen. This is no coincidence. Lucien has contracted them to kill you, and they'll pursue you to all ends of Albion to fulfill their obligation. As you successfully defend yourself from each ambush, you'll discover pieces of a sketched map. There are four pieces total, which will show up as First Sketch Fragment, Second Sketch Fragment, Third Sketch Fragment, and Completed Sketch. Upon finding the final piece, you'll have everything you need to track the assassins back to the Highwaymen's Guild in Brightwood.

The hideout, affectionately called Forsaken Fortress, can be accessed via a short path in the southwest corner of Brightwood. After looting the Cure-All Health Potion from the chest near the entrance, proceed down the path to the ruined courtyard. You'll be attacked by a large group of highwaymen here, including both melee and ranged varieties (the latter of which are strategically assembled up on the left wall). Deal them all the death they deserve, then search the right wall for a chest containing an Adept Skill Potion.

Standing atop the stairs leading to the next area of the fortress is the highwayman leader, Darius Zing. You'll have a chance to take a few swings at him, but then he'll run off toward the back of the fortress. Another round of highwaymen await you at the top of the stairs, after which you can loot a Forever Ring from the chest to your right and then take a few more swings at Darius before he continues to flee.

Another chest sits behind a wall at the top of the next flight of stairs, so snatch the Diamond out of it before moving down the path to your left. At the base of the next flight of stairs, you'll finally get to clash swords with Darius. Between the leader's teleporation ability and the waves of highwaymen that rush to his aid, you may actually have a little difficulty with this battle. The forcefield that keeps you from ascending the stairs you came from doesn't help, either. Just keep concentrating on the leader, as all other highwaymen will disperse once he falls. When Darius is finally lying face-down in his own blood, you'll earn 7500 renown points and the Lucien's Contract trophy.
